Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

My career began after completing a degree in Pharmacology, which led me to a position in a community pharmacy. After hearing wonderful things about Care UK, I decided to do something new with my career, and it's a decision I'm so pleased I made.

Before becoming Home Manager at The Hollies, I was Deputy Manager at Winchcombe Place and completed Care UK's Future Home Programme, which helped me build my leadership skills and prepared me for a home manager role.

For me, being a Home Manager is about creating a warm, supportive environment where residents, families and colleagues all feel valued. I believe strong knowledge, open communication and leading by example are essential to building a happy, successful team that delivers the highest standards of care.

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing residents enjoying life and knowing that our team has made a positive difference to their day. I feel incredibly proud to work alongside such dedicated colleagues, and together we're committed to ensuring everyone at The Hollies feels at home.
