Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

I joined Care UK through a transfer from another care provider and am proud to continue leading the team here at Louth Manor. I have completed all mandatory training and I’m close to finishing my Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Organisation, teamwork and problem-solving are central to how I work, and I always aim to ensure tasks and actions are completed to the highest standard by the end of each day.

I believe the most important qualities for a Home Manager are understanding, approachability and the ability to lead by example. At Louth Manor, I strive to be present, supportive and accountable every day, whether that’s guiding my team, offering emotional support, or spending meaningful time with residents. My favourite moments are the interactions with residents, seeing them happy, settled and enjoying life in our home.

My biggest career highlight so far has been managing my first home and achieving a “Good” rating in all areas from the Care Quality Commission. I also take great pride in supporting colleagues to progress in their careers, just as I have.

Outside of work, I enjoy dog walking, shopping, family time, cinema trips and holidays.
