A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I decided to join Care UK because I wanted to make a positive difference in residents’ lives, ensuring they live life to the full while receiving the highest quality care. For me, being a good home manager is not just about supporting residents but also about making sure all colleagues feel valued and appreciated in their roles.
I hold a Diploma Level 5 in Management and have built my career around dementia care, where I’ve previously worked as a Dementia Care Manager. These experiences have given me the skills and knowledge I need to lead with passion, patience, commitment and empathy.
The best part of my day is seeing and speaking to happy staff and residents, and knowing that together we’ve created the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Westfield Park is known for.
One of my proudest achievements in my career has been becoming a registered manager, and I’m equally proud of the positive feedback we consistently receive from families and visitors to the home.
Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with family and friends and heading off on holidays whenever I can.
