Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

Knowing that I’ve helped someone feel supported and truly listened to makes my role incredibly fulfilling.

I am incredibly proud to be the Home Manager at Chapter House. It’s a stunning care home, but more importantly, it has a warm and homely atmosphere.

I feel very fortunate to be part of such a dedicated team. Everyone here is deeply committed to enriching the lives of our residents. Hearing laughter and seeing the joy shared in our café each day between residents and carers fills me with immense pride.

In my role, it’s essential to listen and provide support to the team, residents, and their families. Compassion and empathy are at the heart of what we do, along with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality living experience for everyone in our care.

I have worked in the care sector throughout my career, starting as a Care Assistant and spending the last six years as a Home Manager. One of my proudest achievements has been transforming a home rated ‘Requires Improvement’ by the CQC into one rated ‘Good’.

I chose to join Care UK because of its strong values and genuine commitment to high standards of care. The organisation’s vision closely aligns with my own, and I was impressed by both the look and feel of the home from my very first visit.

The most rewarding part of my day is connecting with residents and their families. Knowing that I’ve helped someone feel supported and truly listened to makes my role incredibly fulfilling.
