I am a qualified General Nurse, and came to the UK after training in Romania. I chose to work with Care UK as they offer outstanding training, a variety of career pathways, and a friendly, supportive environment, regardless of the role you select.
The desire to help and to actively get involved in the treatment of the patients gives me great fulfilment.
I am now pursuing a degree in Health and Care Management, and I believe that a job in care management is one of the most gratifying careers available.
As a Home Manager, you must be trustworthy, communicative and able to complete a variety of jobs and responsibilities, including acting as manager when needed. I assist the management with making crucial decisions, attend meetings, hire and train new employees, evaluate business performance, prepare reports, and coordinate across many different departments, which demands excellent leadership abilities.
My emphasis is the success of the team and ensuring that everyone meets the objectives.
What motivates me is the knowledge that my hard work and determination will lead to greater professional achievement. Respect, compassion, and dignity are key principles in my opinion, and I am accountable for ensuring good practice in person-centered care as well as guiding and supporting this approach in the employees I supervise.Adriana Stefania Bernschutz Home Manager
