Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

I hold my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, a diploma in adult nursing, and mentoring qualifications. I decided to join Anning House because I wanted to be part of a well-respected larger company that was part of the wider community where I live.

As a Home Manager it’s important that I have empathy, and am able to listen and lead by example. I always want to be a good role model, and empower my team and others, treating everyone with respect. I went into nursing to make a difference; this can be a big impact or just the little things that make a difference to someone’s life. I’m still incredibly proud and happy to be able to continue to do this in my career every day.

Although I have a busy role at work, I like to keep busy outside of work too - I love supporting my husband when he’s playing in his band, going to nice restaurants to eat, entertaining family and friends at home, and going to the theatre, especially to see musicals.
