Welcome to Anning House

Our home sits in the historic part of this charming Dorset seaside town. Here our dedicated team provide nursing, dementia and residential care, as well as short term respite care.

With a calm and welcoming atmosphere, residents enjoy the open views onto the seafront or our beautifully landscaped gardens - home to our pet chickens. Our location means residents can access many nearby amenities, and there are excellent connections to the road and rail network.

Our modern home provides luxury in every area, from our stylish lounges and our range of ensuite bedrooms. We have something for everybody and provide high-quality care and quality of life. We provide a varied activity programme and our minibus outings to local areas of interest are a hit with residents.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The home is owned by WT UK Opco 4 Limited and is managed and staffed by Care UK.

I always want to be a good role model, and empower my team and others, treating everyone with respect. I went into nursing to make a difference; this can be a big impact or just the little things that make a difference to someone’s life. I’m still incredibly proud and happy to be able to continue to do this in my career every day.

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Anning House care home.

The home is purpose built and has qualified nursing staff on site. In general the care staff are empathetic and very dedicated. The meals are excellent in terms of presentation and how the residents are served them.
