Hi, I’m Claudiu, I qualified as a General Nurse in 2015 in my home country of Romania. Before joining Care UK, I worked as a Deputy Manager in a 78-bed nursing home. I was impressed by Care UK’s structure and its values, which closely align with my own.

I believe a Home Manager should be reliable, proactive, supportive and a good listener. My favourite part of the day is seeing the difference our team makes to residents’ lives and knowing that we are making a positive impact every day.

One of my biggest career highlights was commissioning and registering a new care home with the CQC. I’m proudest when I see residents happy, safe and feeling part of our big family, as well as seeing team members develop and succeed.

The most important part of my role is ensuring residents are always treated with dignity and respect, while making sure team members feel listened to and supported to make a real difference to residents’ lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy football, travelling and spending time with my family.
