Fun and fulfilling days
Knebworth is all about stunning hotel-style facilities and meaningful experiences. Some residents find meaning and purpose from helping around the home laying the tables for lunch or lending a hand in the garden. Our activity coordinators also plan fun socially distanced group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ hobbies and interests.
There’s plenty to enjoy under our roof as Knebworth has its own pub, coffee shop, comfortable lounges, as well as a hair and beauty salon.
We are uncompromising about safety and enhanced clinical protocols including the use of PPE and ensuring high traffic areas in the home are disinfected on a regular basis. All new admissions to the home are well cared for in isolation for the first 14 days of their stay, to enable us to minimise the risk of introducing infections into the home.
Giving your loved one the best
When your loved one fancies some quiet time, they can relax in their comfortable bedroom. Each room has private en-suite facilities, a 24-hour call system, flat screen TV and phone and broadband access. Your loved one is also welcome to personalise their room in any way they wish.
Meal times are a great opportunity to get together with friends and enjoy the delicious and nutritious menus served up by our chefs. Residents are encouraged to mix within socially distanced groups and we also offer in-room dining for those who need to or prefer to distance. There’s always a range of freshly prepared dishes to choose from, and the kitchen team happily cater for different dietary, cultural or religious needs.
