Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

We have a terrific team at Carpathia Grange. I started working here in 2020 and have progressed from Team Leader to Unit Manager, then Deputy Manager, and now Home Manager.

We all work incredibly hard, and I am really proud of what we have achieved. So far we have received gold standard framework accreditation, which shows that we consistently deliver high quality end of life care when it is needed.

We have also achieved VIPS accreditation which focuses on high quality person-centred care for residents living with dementia. Both demonstrate our commitment to residents, ensuring we make a real difference to those we support.

As Home Manager, it’s important to have good communication skills, be transparent and have a vision for high standards. As a leader, you also need to be positive and approachable; it is my role to provide help and support to colleagues as well as residents.

My favourite part of working here is ensuring all residents enjoy being at Carpathia Grange. We create happy memories and actively nurture healthy lifestyles. Seeing smiles on the lovely faces of residents makes me smile too. I feel privileged to be able to make such a positive difference to people’s lives.

Outside of work, I love a spa day to unwind and relax. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
