Milner House has relaunched its newly refurbished suite with the help of a special guest.
The Mole Valley District Council Chairman, Councillor Raj Haque, performed a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially reopen the revamped residential suite.
Local people joined the celebrations, and visitors had the opportunity to take a first look at the newly refurbished suite, which will provide residential care for people in Leatherhead and the surrounding area.
The suite, which has been refurbished to a high standard, features 20 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon that all residents can use, stunning lounge space and dining room.
Joe Patterson, home manager at Milner House, said: “The unveiling of the refurbished suite is an important milestone for all of us, as it means we can now meet the demand in Leatherhead and beyond for residential care.
“We have built a warm, welcoming community here at Milner House, with everything in place so we can provide the highest standards of personalised care. We were delighted so many people joined us as we marked this important milestone, and we would like to thank Councillor Raj Haquefor officially opening the suite.
“We now look forward to welcoming residents to their impressive new home over the coming months.”
