Set in an impressive listed Victorian mansion, Milner House care home in Surrey has been carefully updated to provide the latest in nursing care, respite care and expert dementia care for up to 46 people in its generous sized rooms. 

Our friendly and welcoming team takes time to learn about your loved one so that we can provide care and experiences that are as individual as they are. 

Built in 1891, Milner House retains many of its original features, from high ceilings to large windows and landscaped gardens. However, everything has been updated to provide the latest in older people’s care. We have a hair salon, beautiful lounges and each bedroom is spacious and light, with en-suite facilities. The home and gardens are fully wheelchair-accessible.

The dedicated and experienced team at Milner House will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.


My favourite part of the day is spending time with residents and my team, catching up on the day’s events and how we can continue to improve in providing a caring home. My role is to be supportive, lead by example, and show strong leadership skills in any situation.

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Milner House care home.

Milner House has been so helpful and understanding in allowing me to talk to my sister by telephone or WhatsApp  and ‘see’ one another, bringing me much needed reassurance. The management put in place strategies to cope with a potential outbreak well in advance of the lockdown, including an isolation ward, well stocked supplies of PPE and accommodation for carers. All of these measures have been most reassuring.

My lovely Aunt has been a resident at Milner House for over 3 years and she has been very content. I can't fault the care that she has received and the staff have always treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. The communal areas are spotlessly clean and have a nice homely feel. When my Aunt feels well enough to leave her room the Cafe has proved to be a little haven of calm, where we can enjoy a cuppa and a chat together.

From what I have seen, the staff that deal with mum’s personal care are respectful. The activities people and nurses stop and talk to her and give her a hug, they make her feel welcome. They are a very caring and friendly bunch who deal very well with her needs.
