Andrew joined Care UK in 2014 and leads one of the most ambitious development programmes in the sector having opened 55 new care homes with a further 20 sites in planning and construction. Care UK has continued to focus on future growth during the pandemic, opening 9 new build homes and completing on an agreement to operate 26 former Sunrise and Gracewell homes within the Care UK portfolio. Care UK is committed to the continuous development of care quality and has achieved some of the highest regulatory ratings in the sector, including 21 homes rated as CQC ‘Outstanding’. Prior to joining Care UK, Andrew has spent more than 30 years in senior leadership positions working for Weight Watchers UK, Punch Taverns, Spirit Group, and Allied Domecq.
