As a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping residents thrive within our close-knit community.

Supporting people to live fulfilling lives and nurturing a positive culture throughout the home is what motivates me most.

Outside work, I enjoy fitness, travelling and spending time with loved ones.

After beginning my nursing career in acute elderly care and progressing to Ward Sister, I moved into care home leadership where I discovered my passion for dementia care.

I love supporting residents as individuals and working alongside an outstanding team.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling, music and spending time with family and friends.

Having been part of Deer Park View since 2015, I enjoy welcoming residents and families and supporting our wonderful team.

Building relationships and helping people settle into the home is one of my favourite parts of the role.

Outside work, I enjoy scuba diving and travelling.

After a 30-year career as an acoustic engineer, I moved into care home maintenance and have loved helping residents ever since.

I enjoy ensuring the home remains safe and comfortable while getting to know the fascinating residents who live here.

Outside work, I enjoy fishing, golf, football, paddleboarding and family life.

Home support roles

From catering to maintenance, housekeeping to administration, our home support teams play a crucial part in ensuring individuals enjoy an exceptional and safe service every day.

All our teams get to know each person they care for to ensure they provide a service that’s designed around their unique needs and tastes. 

Infection control

Every colleague receives training in infection prevention and control as part of their induction and updates regularly through online and in-person learning. Our dedicated IPC Champions in each home help embed safe working practices and raise awareness of hygiene standards.

Nurses

The nurses at Care UK are highly skilled and receive sector-leading training, which enables them to keep developing expertise in different clinical fields from dementia to palliative care.

Lifestyle

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.
