Elizabeth Lodge is opening its doors to the local community for a special celebration to mark the upcoming royal wedding.
On Saturday 19th May, from 2pm-4pm, Elizabeth Lodge is inviting local people for a ‘right royal knees up’ and to raise a glass to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The home will be adorned with union jack bunting, and residents will have their British flags at the ready for a live screening of the wedding. There will be a delicious cream tea for residents and guests to enjoy.
Michelle Sampang, home manager at Elizabeth Lodge, said: “It’s been a busy few years for the royals, with big birthdays, anniversaries and new additions to the family – conversations around the Queen and her children are never too far from our lips here at Elizabeth Lodge.
“We’re delighted to be able to bring out the bunting once again, this time to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. We’re looking forward to commemorating the big day with the people of Enfield and raising a glass to the happy couple!”
