Kenilworth Grange is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
On Saturday 21st April, from 1pm-4pm, the team at Kenilworth Grange will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Kenilworth Grange has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include live performances and children’s entertainment, including as a bouncy castle. Visitors will have a chance to meet Kenilworth Grange team, enjoy complimentary refreshments and find out what life is like at the home.
Sheridan Farish, home manager at Kenilworth Grange, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community that spans the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to showcase everything Kenilworth Grange has to offer, and the difference care homes can make to peoples’ lives and their wellbeing. Residents have enjoyed creating homemade crowns ahead of the royal celebration, and we look forward to welcoming the people of Kenilworth for what promises to be a fun-filled day.”
