South Shields Alzheimer's memory walk

November 1st 2016

Thousands of people joined forces to unite against dementia recently as the North East hosted its biggest ever Memory Walk.

More than 4,500 people, including Stanley Park staff members, Steph Lee and Amanda Shield gathered in Bents Park to pay tribute to loved ones who have battled the condition and those living with dementia.
Participants set off on the 7km walk from Bents Park before following a breath-taking coastal route.

Steph and Amanda raised a whopping £510 for their efforts – well done!
