Home Manager

I lead my professional Care Team in delivering the highest level of care and support for our residents.

My commitment to professional development has equipped me well for my role here, where I work hard to ensure that those in my care lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.

I believe in maintaining strong relationships with residents and their relatives, and understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.

I feel that the Care UK philosophy matches up well with my own beliefs on care provision and I am committed to ensuring that all our residents continue to receive the high levels of care and protection they deserve.

As a Registered Nurse with experience in both hospitals and care homes, I am passionate about helping residents live safely and with dignity.

Building meaningful relationships and seeing residents smile is what I love most about my role.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling and cooking for my family.

I have spent more than 30 years working in caring professions and am a Dementia Champion with Namaste training.

I love being part of a team that creates fun, meaningful experiences and brings smiles to residents and their families.

Outside work, I enjoy baking, crafting, reading, knitting and walking.

With more than 30 years of administrative experience, including a specialist background in facilities management, I enjoy supporting people and helping things run smoothly.

Building strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues is one of the best parts of my role.

Outside work, I spend as much time as possible with my family, especially my grandchildren.

Nurses

The nurses at Care UK are highly skilled and receive sector-leading training, which enables them to keep developing expertise in different clinical fields from dementia to palliative care.

Lifestyle

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.

Home support roles

From catering to maintenance, housekeeping to administration, our home support teams play a crucial part in ensuring individuals enjoy an exceptional and safe service every day.

All our teams get to know each person they care for to ensure they provide a service that’s designed around their unique needs and tastes. 

Infection control

Every colleague receives training in infection prevention and control as part of their induction and updates regularly through online and in-person learning. Our dedicated IPC Champions in each home help embed safe working practices and raise awareness of hygiene standards.
