Mill View welcomes new manager

Home news

Rosemarie Gray has been appointed to manage Care UK’s latest nursing home which is due to open to residents this summer.

Mill View, in East Grinstead, will be home to 70 residents and will provide specialist nursing care for older people and ground-breaking dementia care in a specially designed wing.

Rosemarie, who is a qualified registered nurse, began her caring career in Australia in the early 1990s. When she moved to England, nine years ago, she worked for Bupa, managing homes and then consulting on a nationwide project creating robust and consistent documentation systems.

She then moved to Westgate Health Care where her extensive management and caring skills were used to improve homes.

Rosemarie said: “I am really looking forward to creating a happy home for residents and a great working environment for staff where everyone can flourish and develop.

“The home looks stunning and Care UK has used research with dementia specialists at Stirling University to ensure the home environment allows residents to live fulfilled and active lives.”
