Take the strain out of Christmas shopping at Kenilworth care home

Home news

Kenilworth residents will have the chance to get ahead this Christmas as Care UK’s Kenilworth Grange opens its doors for a Christmas Fair on Sunday 9th December.

The fair includes a chance to buy unique handmade gifts made by residents, as well as goodies from many other stalls run by local traders.

Activities Coordinator Julie Packer said: “We have some very talented residents and their creativity never fails to surprise me.

“We have bird houses, decorative Christmas cards and some beautiful knitwear created by Mrs Kath Wagstaff. She is very talented and dedicated and as soon as one fair finishes, she starts knitting away for the next one.”

There will be refreshments, including mince pies and entertainment from the popular local ukulele group the Spa Strummers.

The event is free and the fun, at the home in Spring Lane, Kenilworth, runs from 2.30pm to 5pm.
