All the fun of the fair at Cheadle care home

Home news

The team at Abney Court care home in Cheadle is opening its doors on Saturday 23rd July for its annual summer fair.

From 1pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into the care home in Abney Hall Park to enjoy the summer fair celebrations.

There will be stalls selling goods and gifts, as well as a tempting selection of cakes and a tasty barbecue. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Roger Fenna, who will be playing throughout the day. There will be a tombola and raffle, and younger visitors can join in the fun with the ‘Hook a Duck’ game. There will also be the opportunity to soak the Abney Court team, as they take their turn in the stocks.

Tracy Mitchell, home manager at Abney Court, said: “There is a real buzz around the care home with preparations now well underway for our summer fair. We have planned the event to have plenty of activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

“At Abney Court it is important for us to build strong relationships with the local community and we hope members of the public will join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
