Free advice event returns to Kingston Vale care home

Sherwood Grange care home is inviting the local community to a free seminar designed to provide support for families caring for those with dementia.

On Tuesday 18th October, from 2pm to 4pm, the Care UK team at Sherwood Grange will open the doors to the care home on Robin Hood Lane for its free ‘Understanding dementia’ seminar.

Dr Nori Graham, dementia specialist, will be on hand to help people understand what it might be like to live with dementia. There will be information on what dementia is and how memories are lost, as well as useful tips on how to overcome communication barriers.  

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Sherwood Grange and take a tour of the new care home.
