Stanley Park meet Royalty

Residents at Stanley Park had the pleasure of meeting the Duke of Kent recently when he officially opened the community centre next door to the home.

Residents of Stanley Park were invited to attend the grand opening of the centre, known as 'The Venture' as they regularly use the centre's facilities for a game of bingo and love to mix with the wider community. Residents also attend some of the classes they have on offer, which makes them very much part of the community.

The day went extremely well and the residents thoroughly enjoyed their experience - some of the residents were even lucky enough to have a chat with the Duke.
