From 2pm-4.30pm, the team at Kenilworth Grange will be joined by the Mayor of Kenilworth, Councillor Kate Dickson, and local marathon runner David Philips for a free family-friendly event.
The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
Kenilworth Grange has organised a summer garden party to celebrate the open day. There will be fun and games for all the family including a magic show from David Michaels and live music from St. Johns School Choir. There will also be homemade cream tea with jam and scones, Pimms cocktails and a tombola stall.
Sheridan Farish, home manager at Kenilworth Grange, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents through lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Kenilworth Grange has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Kenilworth.”
