Guests tucked in to festive treats and seasonal tipples, sang traditional carols and played Christmas games.
As part of the festive celebrations, residents also took part in a ‘gingerbread house challenge’ competing against each other to create the best culinary creation in the set time limit.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “We’re all looking forward to celebrating Christmas here at Perry Manor, and we hope to make all the residents feel at home by kicking off the celebrations with plenty of fun activities.
“Here at Perry Manor, we advocate ‘activity based care’ and encourage residents to continue their hobbies in later life. Many residents will have held their own Christmas traditions in their younger years so we were thrilled to be able uphold those traditions this year, and add in some extra fun activities too.”
