On Saturday 21st April, from 2.30pm-4.30pm, the team at Foxbridge House will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
To commemorate the day, Foxbridge House has organised a Mad Hatter’s themed tea party. Guests will be able to enjoy traditional afternoon tea, as well as fun activities and games with special guests, the Goddington Guides. There will be fun for all of the family, including decoration making and a craft corner. Visitors will also be able to meet the friendly Foxbridge House team, who will be dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland.
Carol McCormack, home manager at Foxbridge House, said: “At Foxbridge House, we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours and building relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing all age generations together for a fun-filled day, and showcasing all that the home has to offer.
“We look forward to welcoming the people of Orpington for what promises to be another fantastic Open Day."
