From 3pm-5pm on Monday 5th November, Perry Manor care home, on Charles Hastings Way, will open its doors to local people for a commemorative event to celebrate the achievement.
Earlier this month the CQC awarded Care UK’s Perry Manor ‘outstanding’ in both its responsiveness and being exceptionally well led, resulting in an overall ‘outstanding’ rating. This is the first time a care home in Worcester has received this prestigious accolade.
Visitors are invited to join the celebrations which will include welcome drinks, a ceremony to mark the occasion and a live performance from local pianist, Christian Cox.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor said: “We were over the moon when we were named ‘outstanding’ by the CQC – the first home in Worcester to hold this accolade! The team and I haven’t stopped smiling since, and it is truly testament to the team’s continued hard work to give the very best supportive care, compassion and support.
“We are really proud of the environment we have created at Perry Manor and we wanted to celebrate with the residents and their family and friends. We hope the local community will join us for what’s set to be a fun day of celebrations.”
