All welcome for sneak peek at Sidcup’s new multi-million pound care home

Smyth Lodge is inviting the local community to celebrate its completion with an exclusive first look inside the purpose-built facilities. 

The home is opening its doors on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th April, to give local people the opportunity to take a closer look at the brand new home.

From 10am-4pm, members of the public can drop in to meet the team and take a tour around the new care home, which comes complete with its own cinema, hair salon and café, and will provide full-time residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 80 residents.

Home manager at Smyth Lodge, Lorraine Eastmead, said: “The Open Days have been organised to allow visitors to take a look around the care home’s facilities and talk to the team, while also getting an insight into what day-to-day life will be like at Smyth Lodge. They can also find out more about the kind of activities that will be on offer, our cuisine and much more. Ultimately it’s a great opportunity for people to get a feel of the place.

“We are very proud of how the home has been designed, and every last detail has been considered to create a high-quality, luxury environment. Smyth Lodge has been beautifully decorated and furnished, and provides a perfect setting for older loved ones to enjoy a great quality of life.”
