Skylark House welcomes local community for open weekend

Skylark House is inviting the local community to take a sneak-peek inside the purpose-built facilities. 

The home is opening its doors to the community on Saturday 20tha nd Sunday 21st July, so local people can to take a closer look at the home. 

From 2pm-4pm, members of the public can drop in to meet the team and take a tour around the care home, which comes complete with its own cinema, hair salon and café, and provides full-time residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for 82 residents.

Devendra Lallchand, home manager at Skylark House, said: “The Open Days have been organised to allow visitors to take a look around the care home’s facilities and talk to the team, whilealso getting an insight into what day-to-day life is like at Skylark House. They can also find out more about the kind of activities that are on offer, our cuisine and much more.

“It’s set to be a fantastic weekend. Myself, the team members and residents can’t wait to meet everyone!”
