Maidstone care home offers free advice on planning care

A care home in Maidstone is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.

On Thursday 14^th July, from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Invicta Court, on Gidd’s Pond Way, will host its first-in house event since the pandemic began, to the local community on Care Fees Planning and Understanding the Care Cap. 

Kieron Robertson, a Retirement & Later Life Advice Specialist with 25 years’ experience, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one understand the available options for funding long-term care. After the event there will be a helpful Q&A session and the opportunity to chat to the friendly team at Invicta Court and look around the home. 

The session, which will last around 45 minutes, will cover present legislation, state funding, new social care reforms, and the options available to those who are deemed to be self-funders. For those seeking additional information and assistance, there will also be the opportunity to book a complimentary appointment to discuss specific needs in more detail.

This is an in-person event hosted at Invicta Court. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
