Double shortlisting in the Leader in Care Awards

Company achievement

Care UK is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted in two categories for the Leaders in Care Awards.

These awards recognise and reward excellence and innovation in UK care homes, celebrating the achievements of care providers in the UK and the suppliers that serve them.

Care UK is a finalist in the Care Home Provider of the Year category. An impressive track record in ratings from the quality regulators, an all-time high in resident and relative satisfaction scores one of the most ambitious newbuild development programmes in the sector has contributed to Care UK’s shortlisting in this category.

Care UK’s relentless focus on quality has contributed to its strong reputation as a values-based provider that puts residents at its heart. It is the first of the large care providers to have rolled out a wellbeing app ‘Relish’ across its homes and continues to develop it – recently adding functionality to enable families to better connect with loved ones.

Care UK’s newest home, Chichester Grange is also a finalist in the Care Home Design of the Year category, which recognises exceptional efforts to create communal spaces for residents at the home. The home has been recognised for promoting independence through its enabling environment, as well as its impressive landscaped gardens.

Business Development Director, Richard Pearman said, “We were thrilled when we heard we had been shortlisted for this award. We are committed to delivering an excellent resident experience in every aspect of our development programme and it is great to see this recognised.”

The winners of the Leaders in Care Awards will be announced during a gala ceremony on 11th October in Birmingham.
