A care home in Frome put on the tunes for the local community. Team members and residents at Care UK’s Rossetti House, on Welshmill Lane, hit the right note as they hosted a very special music festival.

The event saw guests invited to dance along to live entertainment, including performances from Frome ukulele band, ‘The Frukes’, Songbirds Choir, and a musical theatre singer and actor, Lloyd Notice, Frome Street Bandits and jazz singers Kelly Dale and Henry Sampson. Festival goers also enjoyed an afternoon tea buffet prepared by the home’s Head Chef.
Resident Jean Chandler said: “I thought it was excellent. I stayed all day and enjoyed it hugely. We all hope it will be a regular event and are already looking forward to next year”.
Phil Vale, General Manager at Rossetti House, said: “We were thrilled to host a summer festival and welcome members of the local community.
“It was a fantastic day of music, food, and fun. The event offered the perfect opportunity to get together with loved ones and enjoy a celebration of live music. Many residents at Rossetti House have fond memories of attending music festivals and watching live music in their younger years, and this event encouraged them to look back and relive these happy memories. Thank you to everyone who came along!”
