A care home in Driffield has made a generous donation to a local organisation.
As part of its commitment to the surrounding community, Care UK’s Driffield Manor on Middle Street, has presented Love Driffield with a £500 donation.

The group is committed to supporting residents of Driffield with practical help, social connection and essential resources. The charity operates both as a foodbank and a community centre.
In addition to the funds, Driffield Manor also donated bedding including quilts and pillows to the charity.
Angela, co-founder and chairperson at Love Driffield, said: “We are so thankful for the donation, it is amazing. The bedding alone has helped 50 families!”
Donna Henderson, Home Manager at Driffield Manor, added: “We’re thrilled to be supporting a local community group whose philosophy aligns so closely with ours here at the home.
“The local community are central to our values, and we are delighted to contribute and encourage the charity to continue with their vital efforts to support people living in and around Driffield.
“We’re dedicated to working with the local community and the fantastic groups in the area, and we’re looking forward to continuing to show our support.”
Driffield Manor is a modern care home providing full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Designed to enable residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has its very own cinema and hair salon, bar, bowling green and terraced balconies. There is also plenty of space both in and outdoors for relaxation and recreation.
