Care UK's commitment to delivering exceptional care has been recognised at the 2026 Lottie Awards, with four homes receiving awards across three categories.
The Lottie Awards celebrates care homes across the UK that demonstrate exceptional commitment to residents and their families.

To decide on the winners, Lottie's team reviewed data of every care home listed on its platform, assessing them against the criteria that matter most to families when choosing care. This includes independent regulator ratings, enquiry handling, facilities and activities, the quality of each home's online listing, and verified family reviews. Winners were selected following a comprehensive review of every care home listed on its platform, assessing them against criteria, including regulator ratings, enquiry handling, facilities and activities and family reviews.
Care UK was listed as one of the UK’s Top Large Providers alongside the following winning Care UK homes:
Edinburgh home Lauder Lodge was hand-picked by Lottie’s Care Experts who visited the home and were impressed by its outstanding, welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Edinburgh-based Cairdean House’s strong regulatory rating and enquiry handling score placed it as one of Lottie’s op 100 homes.
Cuttlebrook Hall, situated in Oxfordshire, stood out for its outstanding regulatory rating and wealth of five-star Google reviews, and Cardiff’s Llys Herbert has been recognised for exceptional enquiry handling and care seeker experience.
Andrew Knight, Chief Executive Officer of Care UK, said: “Our teams go above and beyond to provide care that reflects individual needs, interests and preferences while ensuring families feel supported throughout every stage of the journey. I am proud to see my colleagues’ dedication recognised by Lottie.”
Will Donnelly, Co-Founder and CEO of Lottie, added: “The Lottie Awards are about recognising the incredible dedication of care professionals who make a real difference in people's lives every day. To be named among the Top 100 from more than 14,000 care homes across the UK is a huge achievement. These care homes are not just meeting residents' needs, they're redefining later living by creating vibrant and supportive communities that deliver exceptional care and experiences."
