Welcome to Tall Trees

Tall Trees is a modern, purpose-built care home in a quiet residential area close to the centre of Colchester, Essex. Our large team provides personalised nursing and dementia care on a short term (respite) or permanent basis. We also offer compassionate end of life care.

At the heart of the dementia care we provide is a deep understanding of the individual. All of our team receive advanced dementia training, which enables them to experience first-hand what it may be like to live with dementia.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

I believe that making the little moments count is all-important to helping an older person to live a meaningful life. We see the difference it makes and it motivates us to do more. I have a very caring team here at Tall Trees, and each of us, whatever our role, understands that we can make a big difference to residents.

They build relationships with the people in the home and with their families, they really make the effort to get to know everyone. They are clearly trained well in their work and it is a 'resident first' ethos among the team. I visit every day, so I'm pretty involved in my loved one's care.
