Our care home in Hailsham blends old and new – incorporating Victorian brewery buildings and a new-build facility – it delivers the best of care to older people.
Bowes House in Hailsham, East Sussex, provides a wide range of care services, from short respite stays, through to full time nursing and residential care. We are also highly experienced in delivering care for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Our 90-bedroom home has its own café, hair salon and is divided into four suites, each named by local schoolchildren. Each suite has its own lounge and dining room to create a ‘community within a community’. Every bedroom has an en-suite wet room, flat-screen television, electronically adjustable bed and a 24-hour nurse call system, plus phone and internet connection points. All of our ground floor bedrooms open directly onto patios in our courtyard or garden.
Everything we do at Bowes House, from the care we provide, through to the activities we plan, and even the meals our catering team prepares, are tailored to residents – that way each resident receives an experience that’s as individual as they are.
