Our Surrey home has activity and sensory rooms, a quiet room, a comfortable lounge and dining room, as well as inviting outdoor spaces that are wheelchair accessible. There’s also a 24-hour nurse call system and TV connection point in each room.
We get to know each new resident, from their physical needs through to their personality, what they like to do, where they used to live, their hobbies and interests. Then we set about creating care and lifestyle plans that are unique to them.
Our team believe that when a person is enjoying their favourite activities in a setting where they feel secure and cared for, they will feel happy and relaxed. We tailor activities to residents’ interests so that they can enjoy meaningful experiences every day. We might do arts and crafts, have a news review session, watch a film or do a reminiscence activity – everything is designed around the people we care for.
The Cumberland team delivers a full range of quality care services. We always assess every prospective new resident before they join us, so we know we can provide them with the care and support they need.Read more
