Echelforde is a welcoming, purpose-built care home close to the centre of Ashford.
We’re here to support you and your loved one through your journey into care and are able to offer one-to-one video chats as well as in-person appointments for show rounds of our care home. If you’re considering care for yourself or a loved one, call us today to speak to one of our friendly care support team, who can answer any questions you may have about the care available at Echelforde.
We provide high quality residential, respite, day and dementia care for up to 50 people. We put residents first – always – and treat them like members of our own family. We realise the importance of a chat or a smile and we make time to spend with people. It makes residents happy, and it makes us happy.
Keeping active, safe and independent
At Echelforde, we believe in supporting your loved one to be as independent as possible. For one person that may mean tending to the plants in the garden. For another resident that may mean simply choosing what they want to wear in the morning.
Your loved one is welcome to do meaningful tasks around our Surrey care home if it helps to give them a sense of purpose. We plan a range of social distanced activities and outings each week too, from quizzes and games, to music and regular entertainment. We also have strong links with the local community.
Echelforde have embraced new technology, helping to keep residents in contact with loved ones, organising virtual entertainment, and even helping to make some new friends in the local community too.
Relax and unwind
Your loved one’s bedroom is their own personal space. Each is large and comfortable, with stylish furniture and a 24-hour nurse call system, and your loved one can bring their own personal possessions and items of furniture to make their room more personal to them. Echelforde also has lovely shared spaces, including an activity room, a hair salon, a shop and a bar.
Our stringent cleaning protocols ensure high traffic areas in the home are disinfected on a regular basis, and there are hand sanitising stations located throughout the home. We have ample supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the colleagues caring for you will be wearing this at all times.
