The Francis Court lifestyle team organises a range of activities to support your loved one to stay active and independent.
Whether it is quizzes, baking, gardening, arts and crafts or pet therapy, we ensure that there’s always something for your loved one to enjoy. We also spend time one-to-one with residents who prefer a more personal approach to their hobbies and interests.
Enjoying fulfilling experiences
Every day brings something different at Francis Court. We might hold a charity cake sale, pop out for ice-cream, enjoy a visit from therapy dogs, be serenaded by musicians or have an outing to a local garden centre. Residents particularly enjoy the intergenerational activities that we do with Copthorne Prep School.
This is your loved one’s home, and we want them to do whatever they would have done in their own home. We will support them to pop to the shops, explore the local area or attend a church or local group and stay in touch with friends in the local community. They’re also welcome to help around the home, maintaining folding laundry, laying the table for lunch, or watering the plants.
Fine food and fun times
Meal times at Francis Court are about much more than eating together. They're a chance to catch up with friends over delicious and nutritious dishes – and even enjoy a glass of wine. There's always a good choice of menu options, including hot and cold dishes, and there’s always plenty to go around. Everything is made from fresh, seasonal produce; we cater for all dietary needs, and we're always enhancing the menus in response to residents' feedback.
We often have food-related activities, including baking and themed menus, and we always celebrate residents’ birthdays and anniversaries with a freshly baked cake!
