The Francis Court lifestyle team organises a range of social distanced activities to support your loved one to stay active and independent.
Whether it is quizzes, baking, gardening or arts and crafts, we ensure that there’s always something for your loved one to enjoy. We also spend time one-to-one with residents who prefer a more personal approach to their hobbies and interests. We have ample supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the colleagues caring for you will be wearing this at all times.
Enjoying fulfilling experiences
This is your loved one’s home, and we want them to do whatever they would have done in their own home. We will support them to stay in touch with friends and learn a new hobby. They’re also welcome to help around the home, maintaining folding laundry, laying the table for lunch, or watering the plants. Our stringent cleaning protocols ensure high traffic areas in the home are disinfected on a regular basis, and there are hand sanitising stations located throughout the home.
Fine food and fun times
Meal times at Francis Court are about much more than eating together. They're a chance to catch up with friends over delicious and nutritious dishes – and even enjoy a glass of wine. There's always a good choice of menu options, including hot and cold dishes, and there’s always plenty to go around. Everything is made from fresh, seasonal produce; we cater for all dietary needs, and we're always enhancing the menus in response to residents' feedback.
We often have food-related activities, including baking and themed menus, and we always celebrate residents’ birthdays and anniversaries with a freshly baked cake!
