As the Deputy Manager, I am passionate about delivering outstanding, compassionate care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support. I feel privileged to work in a role where kindness, dignity and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

I bring strong clinical experience from my background as a nurse, leadership and genuine compassion to my role, supporting both residents and staff to ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered. I believe a care home should feel like a true home, where residents feel safe, valued and treated with the same care and respect we would want for our own families.

Being able to support residents to live comfortably, with dignity and quality of life, is what makes my role so rewarding and why I truly love what I do and where I work.

When I’m not with my Magna Family, you will often find me up a mountain or out on a long walk, enjoying nature, photographing, and living my best life.

With over 30 years of experience leading the wellbeing team, I am responsible for enhancing the lives of our residents by maintaining quality, care and dignity. Knowing that I can bring joy to others, with the in-depth person-centred activities daily is a joy in itself for me. 

I take great pride in my role as receptionist, it really makes my heart smile. I love meeting families and residents and building relationships. I have progressed through various roles at Magna which has given me a great understanding of how we can support our residents in the best possible way.
