Meet our friendly care team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one, and at Maids Moreton Hall our experienced team of dedicated professionals all undergo our in-depth training programme. The whole team works to make sure that residents' needs are at the heart of everything they do and that personalised care is always provided.

Faith Allen

Home Manager

Faith Allen

I completed my nurse training at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College in 2006 and did postgraduate training at Brighton University.

I began working for Care UK as a carer in 2000, and I found it to be an enjoyable experience where I learned so much. It was what persuaded me to follow a nursing career. I had many great years working in care homes and had served as a Deputy Manager since 2019.

In order to fulfil my role, it’s important to be a keen listener and to be approachable, empathetic and responsive to enquiries. You must be able to receive critiques and complete action plans too, and continuously update your skills and knowledge.

My favourite part of the day is my walk around. It’s a great opportunity to interact with colleagues and residents, and to have a quick overview of the home and the environment. I look forward to continuing to get to know the residents and assisting with risk assessments and care planning, so that care is delivered to an excellent standard.

I love writing poems and songs outside of work, and I enjoy singing and dancing too. I also like to spend time walking in the park and driving around the country.

Chance Chakkapan
Chance Chakkapan
Deputy Manager

Having previously worked as a Deputy Manager and a nurse in other care settings, I am passionate about making a significant impact in improving residents’ lives and well-being. I love working for Care UK as it offers ongoing training and development programs, ensuring that staff are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

My favourite part of the day working at Maids Moreton Hall is when I interact with the residents and their relatives. It makes my day when I get positive feedback from the residents about the wonderful food that they enjoy at the home or when a relative is happy that their loved one is settling in well and healthy.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and being outdoors.

Andrea Bullen
Andrea Bullen
Customer Relations Manager

As Customer Relations Manager I am the first point of contact here in our home. It is my job to welcome families and potential residents to Maids Moreton Hall at what can be an emotional and stressful time in their lives.

I offer my trust, guidance and support as well as a listening ear.

We aim to give a sense of security and a feeling of belonging here at Maids Moreton Hall. Peace of mind is the ultimate goal for everyone.

It truly warms my heart to see a new resident flourish and to spend valuable family time to spend with their loved ones once more.

Jamie Hicks
Jamie Hicks
Head Chef

I have been a chef for over 30 years and was previously head chef at an army base. Joining Care UK is a bit of a change, but its values make it a good place to work and Maids Moreton Hall has a friendly team.

In this role, you have to be passionate but also be patient. Strong leadership skills are essential too. The most important part of this job is to make sure that residents are happy with the food. It’s terrific when we get positive feedback – it is affirmation that we are doing a good job. I am also here to support my team and help them be the best they can be.

One of my big career highlights was getting to the finals of a street food competition and having my recipe published.

Outside of work, I still love cooking. I also enjoy walking my dog and kayaking.

Mark Postins

Maintenance Manager

There are various reasons as to why I enjoy working at Maids Moreton Hall, and one of them is the positive atmosphere that we have at home. I look forward to the daily interactions that I have with my colleagues and the work that I do for the residents at the home.

As a Maintenance Manager, it is important to adopt logical thinking when dealing with challenging tasks and to persevere until a particular task is complete. I take great pride when a task is done, as I know I am making the home more comfortable and safer for the residents. It always makes my day whenever I get compliments from residents.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs and listening to music.

Carers

Our hardworking teams always keep individuals and their families at the heart of the care they provide. We work with you to shape the care your loved one receives, the food they’re served, the activities and experiences they want to do – even the ways they prefer to keep in touch with their friends and family.

Nurses

The nurses at Care UK are highly skilled and receive sector-leading training, which enables them to keep developing expertise in different clinical fields from dementia to palliative care.
