Friends and family will be joining residents and staff for a celebration cream tea to mark national Dignity Action Day on Wednesday 1st February.
Dignity Action Day aims to ensure people in care are treated as individuals, are given choice, control and a sense of purpose in their daily lives and are offered stimulating activities.
Manager Linda Portlock said: “Everyone, wherever they are, deserves to be treated with dignity. I believe the key to dignity is treating everyone with the same courtesy and respect as we would want to be treated ourselves. Everyone has a unique voice and it deserves to be heard.
“We want our residents to have the choices, opportunities and lifestyle they would choose to have at home and we are looking forward to celebrating not only dignity but individuality with our residents and their families.”
