Members of the public are invited to drop into the new Sandfields care home on St. George’s Road in Cheltenham this Saturday (9 August) 2pm – 5pm when the Care UK team will be hosting an afternoon of family-friendly summer fun.
Visitors can sit back and relax while they enjoy a sizzling barbecue in the care home’s landscaped gardens, and there will be music and entertainment, as well as garden games and activities.
Home manager Ruth Baggs explained why she is throwing open the doors to Sandfields this Saturday. “Since we welcomed our first residents back in February, we have been creating a warm and inviting community here at Sandfields. We are all very proud of the home and we therefore wanted to take the opportunity to invite the people of Cheltenham along for a fun afternoon which we have planned with all generations in mind. We look forward to meeting our neighbours and to showcasing Sandfields and all it has to offer.”
Visitors will get the opportunity to take a closer look around the purpose built care home which provides nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for residents. The home’s team will be on hand to answer any questions members of the public may have regarding care and day-to-day life at Sandfields.
