Staff, residents and their families joined in a day of celebration as Tall Trees officially received a “Good” rating from the Government’s inspectorate.
The celebrations also included staff gaining senior carer awards.
We received the coveted two star rating from the Care Quality Commission which monitors all nursing homes to ensure that residents receive the best possible care in the cleanest and safest of environments.
Six of our team also received NVQ level 3 awards, making them highly qualified and experienced carers.
One staff member, Zoe Campbell, not only gained the NVQ level 3 but also a national BTEC qualification.
Home manager Karen Allen said: “We have a great team here. They work very hard and are totally committed to their jobs and to the residents.
“It was a beautiful day and the residents and their relatives joined staff in the grounds. We were joined by a singer and everyone enjoyed joining in with the songs.”
