Weald Heights is opening its doors to the local community for a special celebration to mark the upcoming royal wedding.
On Saturday 19th May, from 12pm-4pm, Weald Heights is inviting local people for a ‘right royal knees up’ and to raise a glass to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The home will be adorned with union jack bunting, and residents will have their British flags at the ready for a live screening of the wedding. The team has organised a delicious selection of food prepared by the home’s chefs for all to enjoy.
The home will be showing the royal wedding live from 12pm for residents and guests, and there will be live entertainment from local performer, Mike Mirandi.
Maria Covington, home manager at Weald Heights, said: “We were all so excited when we heard there was to be another royal wedding, and knew we had to do something to celebrate!
“Here at Weald Heights, many of the residents have fond memories of the royal family and the many weddings and celebrations over the years, so this is a brilliant opportunity to reminisce and share stories from the past.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the people of Sevenoaks to the home and to toasting the happy couple for what promises to be a wonderful day of celebrations.”
