Home Manager

I have more than 30 years’ experience in the care sector and am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with extensive leadership and management experience across residential, nursing, and dementia care. As Home Manager, I take great pride in creating a warm and supportive environment where residents feel valued, safe, and truly at home. I am passionate about developing my team, maintaining high standards, and continually improving the quality of care we provide.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, and getting away in my caravan whenever I can.

With more than 30 years' experience in customer service and an active role within the local community, I am passionate about supporting individuals and families as they explore care options.

Being able to help people, give something back and make a positive difference is what I love most about my role.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping fit, attending concerts and the theatre with my family, spending time with my four dogs and visiting car shows with my partner.

As clinical lead, I support the nursing and care teams to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

I work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals to maintain the highest standards within the home and create a supportive and compassionate environment.

I began my career working in childcare before moving into care, where I have spent the last five years supporting older people with a range of care needs.

I love building relationships with residents, learning about their lives and creating meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, family and our dog Loki, as well as exploring new places and making special memories on holiday.

I work as the receptionist here at Rendlesham Care centre.

Where I am often the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors. I have a range of responsibitlies and tasks to complete. I am also the Training Champion of our care home. I truly enjoy getting to know our residents and thier families and love being a part of creating a warm, freindly and supportive environment for everyone.

The nurses at Care UK are highly skilled and receive sector-leading training, which enables them to keep developing expertise in different clinical fields from dementia to palliative care.

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.

Home support roles

From catering to maintenance, housekeeping to administration, our home support teams play a crucial part in ensuring individuals enjoy an exceptional and safe service every day.

All our teams get to know each person they care for to ensure they provide a service that’s designed around their unique needs and tastes. 

Infection control

Every colleague receives training in infection prevention and control as part of their induction and updates regularly through online and in-person learning. Our dedicated IPC Champions in each home help embed safe working practices and raise awareness of hygiene standards.
