My commitment to professional development has equipped me well for my role here, where I work hard to ensure that those in my care lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.

As clinical lead, I support the nursing and care teams to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care. I work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals to maintain the highest standards within the home and create a supportive and compassionate environment.

I work as the receptionist here at Rendlesham Care centre. Where I am often the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors. I have a range of responsibitlies and tasks to complete. I am also the Training Champion of our care home. I truly enjoy getting to know our residents and thier families and love being a part of creating a warm, freindly and supportive environment for everyone.

I have worked in various roles within the care environment since 2013. I am passionate about supporting the whole team and ensuring residents and their families feel valued and comfortable about visiting the home. Making a difference is very important to me and the reward of a smile makes my day!

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.

Home support roles

From catering to maintenance, housekeeping to administration, our home support teams play a crucial part in ensuring individuals enjoy an exceptional and safe service every day.

All our teams get to know each person they care for to ensure they provide a service that’s designed around their unique needs and tastes. 

Infection control

Every colleague receives training in infection prevention and control as part of their induction and updates regularly through online and in-person learning. Our dedicated IPC Champions in each home help embed safe working practices and raise awareness of hygiene standards.
