Riverside

Welcome to Riverside

Riverside is a purpose-built care home in Hyde. Our skilled team provides person-centered care, including specialist nursing and dementia care.

Around the home are spacious lounges and dining rooms. We have two conservatories and a kitchenette that residents can use. There’s a hair salon next to reception too and we also have our own shop where residents can buy sweets and newspapers. On warm days, residents enjoy relaxing in our lovely well-kept gardens or having a game of bowls on the bowling green.

Riverside is officially a ‘Veteran Friendly Framework’ accredited care home, recognising our best practice and highest standards of care for the Armed Forces community.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

I visited other care homes and Riverside is just brilliant in comparison. They are so patient with my loved one. He has learning difficulties and they make such efforts to understand what he is saying and how he is feeling. They go out of their way to give him what he needs. Anywhere else I would be worried leaving him, but I know I can come home from there and not worry. He is well looked after and safe. I never felt as safe and relaxed. I could tell from day 1 he was alright. They will phone me up and hold the phone up to him so we can speak, and they let him get in touch whenever he wants.
