At Seccombe Court, we have a dedicated Activities Coordinator to ensure residents and their families enjoy an active social life. They organise a wide range of regular activities and events throughout the year. Every week we lay on concerts performed by local musicians, seasonal parties, afternoon tea, baking and cooking demonstrations, regular exercise classes, and film nights with popcorn in our cinema. We also have a bowls green next door for residents to use.

They have an excellent activities programme, and very inclusive. There are activities most days and they encourage all residents to get involved, even residents who are bedbound are included. They have a very good leader for activities and entertainment. It's unbelievable what they are able to organise, really. Brilliant!

The care is very good, I have no concerns at all about my loved one's health or safety. The staff are all very caring and they pay attention to what is happening with the residents from day to day. They know if my loved one is having a bad day and they try to make her as comfortable as possible. Whenever I visit they always feedback to me how she is doing... they're always clued up.

My loved one is not physically capable of doing much for herself now and the staff are all incredibly helpful and supportive, they look after her very well. They encourage her to get involved with activities, despite her limitations, and I will often participate too when I visit, families are made to feel very welcome and involved like that. I've always found them to be very approachable, and they are so kind with my loved one. They really understand who she is and what she needs. It's a friendly, caring team up there.
