Paul Fenech

I believe our residents should receive the highest quality of care, and I work hard to ensure my team and I consistently deliver this while making each day memorable.

I take great pleasure in spending time with residents and their relatives and understand the important contribution these relationships make to creating a happy and successful community.

I have worked in the hospitality sector throughout my career and have had the opportunity to work in and manage a large private hospital, as well as a number of fantastic hotels. This experience has given me a strong understanding of exceptional service, which I bring to my role when supporting residents, families, guests, and colleagues. Being able to make a positive difference to their day is incredibly rewarding.

At Thames View, we are one big family, and everything we do comes from the heart. We deliver care with empathy, kindness, and a genuine desire to support our residents and colleagues, making a positive difference every day.

Every day brings new opportunities to make a difference, which is what I love about my role.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, gardening and exploring art and culture.

I have over 10 years of experience in care home catering and enjoy creating nutritious meals tailored to residents' preferences.

Making people happy through food and leading the kitchen team are the most rewarding parts of my role.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, model boat building and spending time with my family.

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.

Home support roles

From catering to maintenance, housekeeping to administration, our home support teams play a crucial part in ensuring individuals enjoy an exceptional and safe service every day.

All our teams get to know each person they care for to ensure they provide a service that’s designed around their unique needs and tastes. 

Infection control

Every colleague receives training in infection prevention and control as part of their induction and updates regularly through online and in-person learning. Our dedicated IPC Champions in each home help embed safe working practices and raise awareness of hygiene standards.
