Hospital prepares to celebrate its 20,000th patient

Company news

Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre will soon be welcoming its 20,000th patient through its doors.  The hospital, which has been open for five years, provides high quality specialist orthopaedic care for the people of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

The 20,000th patient will be due at the hospital during the first week of March and the Centre will be presenting a fabulous hamper to that particular patient. The Centre has recently been inundated with letters/cards and emails supporting the hospital and praising its services and care following its uncertain future.

Graeme Kendall, manager of Barlborough, said: ”The Centre is especially proud of its staff and treatments that we provide to patients across the region.  The feedback we receive from our patients is very much appreciated and we are very much looking forward to marking the occasion of welcoming the 20,000th patient to our hospital.”

Run by an independent company with an impressive track record in patient care and clinical success, on behalf of the NHS for NHS patients only. It prides itself on providing the best patient care at its unique facility in friendly and comfortable surroundings. The Centre, which has never had a case of hospital acquired MRSA or C-difficile, is situated less than one mile from Junction 30 of the M1 which makes it very accessible and the parking is free.

The Centre is holding an OPEN DAY on SUNDAY 21st March 2010 from 10am-4pm.  Please feel free to come along and meet surgeons, anaesthetists, centre staff and past patients. It will be a fantastic opportunity to see how welcoming the Centre is and you will be able to have a tour around the facility.
